What is the Court of Protection?
The Court of Protection is a division of the High Court which protects incapable people in relation to their finances and welfare. The Court of Protection will guide and support you or a loved one through the options available for managing the financial affairs and help you to make choices that will benefit those concerned. It will also regulate whoever is approved to look after your affairs.
